There were actually quite a few things happening this week, but I couldn't bring myself to write.

Last weekend, I went out with my camera to take some photos. Spring nature is really full of vitality, with everything being green and tender. This is the time of year when flowers bloom the most, and there are flowers and plants everywhere. If only people had the same energy, we could happily roll around in the grass.
I took some photos of a girl in a Hanfu dress, and they turned out really nice. The girl in the Hanfu dress didn't like them, but I thought they were beautiful (actually, everyone except the girl in the Hanfu dress thought they were beautiful).
There have been a lot of heavy rains in spring, and the sunny days after the rain are the most beautiful.
Tokyo Revengers S1#
It's an interesting drama (not sure if it's a Japanese drama or an American one). The beginning is quite plain, although there is an undercurrent of tension.
The protagonist is a foreigner who joins a Japanese newspaper to report on social news. The setting is somewhat similar to William in "Nioh". The main plot revolves around a gang from outside Tokyo trying to take over the local gang. The internal conflicts within the gang cause social unrest. The male protagonist, as an American among a group of Asian journalists, stands out, and everyone knows it's him when they mention the foreign journalist. He focuses on reporting on this gang.
I'm not sure about the significance of the female lead in the drama. Maybe she's meant to be the thread that pulls the male protagonist into the story, but her role seems limited. As for Sato, although he's a bit handsome, it's not clear what he really wants. Sometimes he acts like a little wolf, sometimes like a loyal dog, sometimes he wants to leave the underworld, and sometimes he protects his boss. It's hard to figure him out.
BBQ Rating: 8.6/10. I really like the color tone of the shots, but most of the drama is quite plain, and you can only hear the sound of the undercurrent. They put all the power into the last episode, which feels frustrating. If I didn't know there was a second season, I would have thought everyone had given up...
Ryu Ga Gotoku 8 (Yakuza: Like a Dragon)#
After watching the first season of Tokyo Revengers, I don't know why, but I thought of Ryu Ga Gotoku. I heard that Ryu Ga Gotoku 8 is quite fun, so I downloaded it.
Haruka Kasuga is really cute. Although she starts off as a serious contract worker and her values are even more upright than the evening news, it's really hard to resist someone so cute.
The only downside is that he is the main character, and I have to immerse myself in him, but he's too proactive, and my attempt at JRPG immersion has failed!
But since Ryu Ga Gotoku 7, everything has been developing in a positive direction, which is comforting. Unless something unexpected happens, something unexpected is about to happen.
After being falsely accused by a VTuber, everything suddenly became heavy. It's sad to see such a good person being slandered, losing their job, and having to bear a bad reputation while walking on the street.
The burgundy suit is really cool, but unfortunately, the perspective of a passerby is too harmonious.
The main battlefield in this generation is no longer Kamurocho or the Red Light District from the 7th generation, but Hawaii. The feeling I get from Ryu Ga Gotoku 8 is that the cost of living in America is really expensive. And Japanese passports are really powerful, even former unemployed vagrants from the underworld can easily go abroad.
And the legendary character from Ryu Ga Gotoku 0 to Ryu Ga Gotoku 6, Kazuma Kiryu, actually got cancer due to Japan's nuclear wastewater. It's really lamentable. Sega actually has a sense of social responsibility, and it's okay to include some personal opinions.

Can't play games anymore#
Lately, I've been understanding more and more what it means to have "more heart than strength". It's not that I don't want to play Ryu Ga Gotoku, it's actually quite fun, but I just don't have the energy to play, so I haven't finished it yet.
The Western ginseng I bought last week probably wasn't stored properly, and it got moldy when I took it out this week. So I ate another kind of ginseng, but the effect is almost non-existent.
My sleep quality has also been poor. Yesterday, I couldn't breathe in my dream and was kicked out of it. I took a few deep breaths and went back to sleep.
I haven't played Code: Yashiro or Arknights for two days. My interest in mobile games comes and goes in waves. I've been playing intensively for about forty to fifty days, logging in every day to clear my stamina.
It's tough... I was going to procrastinate on writing this week's journal again, but I forced myself to write it out. It was a struggle.
